NYE Celebrations in St Regis Hotel - Abu Dhabi

We have a huge soft spot for Abu Dhabi, so we were very happy to be invited by St Regis Abu Dhabi to perform at their NYE celebrations.

We arrived at the hotel and were blown away with it’s modern Arabian style and grand sweeping staircase. Our rooms were wonderfully luxurious with timeless, classic decor. BLISS.

Our soundcheck was the following day so after enjoying a delicious breakfast with the hotel manager to discuss our brief we headed to the NationRivera Beach Club to sound check.

Our stage was right on the crystal waters edge, the weather was perfect,and the band sounded on top form.

We went back to our fabulous hotel room, freshened up and got ourselves ready to party!

The night kicked off with our easy listening dinner set, whilst guests enjoyed their meals.

It is hard to explain but from the moment we began we could feel the electric vibe. The audience members were from all over the world, every nationality you can imagine and of all different ages. There was a lovely family feel about the night.

After a quick costume change we returned to the stage to rock the beach club with our high energy party band set – perhaps it was the free flowing champagne but it was an INCREDIBLE night. Guests from age 6 to 60 were letting loose and dancing like crazy. We even had some mini ravers join us on the stage.

When the clock struck 12 Abu Dhabi aimed to set a World Record firework display, which lasted over 10 minutes. It was certainly something to behold, breath-taking.
