We had a new and exciting brief for this lavish Indian wedding – The bride & groom wanted an Orchestra!
Let us introduce you to ‘iPop Symphony’ – our dazzling 15 piece line up.
We headed to our rehearsal rooms and created a bespoke set list to cater for the client’s easy listening /dinner brief. We carefully selected a beautiful playlist with love at the forefront. We decided upon songs that would come to life with our 3 piece brass section, 4 piece string section and grand piano.
Our repertoire included songs from legendary artists including Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Luther Vandross, Lionel Richie, Nat King Cole, Aretha Franklin and many more ultimate feel good classics from every era.
The wedding was held at The Grand Hyatt Mumbai. We arrived to ‘the event garden’ the night before the event to set up a little and soundcheck. It was such an incredible scene – vast amounts of people working to get the stage and setting built. Sparks were flying from welding irons, huge structures were being erected, thousands of flowers were being attached to walls. It was beautifully CRAZY!

It is a wonderful feeling being on stage with so many musicians, all working together to create something magical.
Celebrity Indian vocalist Mansi Scott also joined us on stage for a 30 minute Hindi/English mash up set. It was super fun – she was a dream to work with.
Our client wanted an elegant look – they chose a red theme for the singers, and black for the band. We worked together to create their prefect style. Let us know what your perfect ‘look’ would be for the band and we will be happy to accommodate.
