How much do iPop cost to hire?

Please contact us for a quote. We would love to give you an instant quote, but many variables affect the price. These include peak dates, lineup size, travel times, set times, finish times and add ons.

As a rough indication, our prices on a peak Saturday will start from £3000.00.

Our prices include the following:

Should I be nervous about booking a band I have not seen before?

We totally understand the concerns about booking a band you’ve not seen before. It is a jungle out there!! BUT we are 100% postivie you will not be disappointed if you book iPop. We are good at what we do! 

All of the photos, demos and videos we create for you are a great representation of what you get. We record our events LIVE, and we are not hiding behind a studio setting. Check out our Reviews page to read testimonials from other happy clients. 

In most circumstances, it is not possible to see the band live as we perform at private functions. Due to the fact they are closed, we cannot obtain access and would hate to intrude on anyone’s special day or big event. Bands who regularly play publicly at pubs etc. are probably not the type you would hire for a significant private party, as pubs don’t pay the money required for top quality acts.

On the rare occasion that we might be doing a public show, we cannot guarantee that we will still be available for your event by the time you get to see us. We do get booked very quickly, so you are much safer basing your decision to hire us on the strength of videos, demos, playlists, biography and references from other customers. We are passionate about making our live promo material as true to life as possible, so what you see is what you get.

Do you require a deposit?

We do require a deposit to secure the date. The deposit must be paid within 7 days of agreeing the booking. The deposit is non-refundable.

COVID UPDATE: Should your wedding need to be postponed due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic we are able to transfer your deposit across to ANY other date for you.

What happens if I cancel?

Cancellation by the client or the artist is not allowed once the booking is agreed verbally or electronically by both parties, except where Force Majeure applies. Where Force Majeure does not apply, a cancellation fee must be paid by the client. Details of these fees are in the terms and conditions that we send you before booking.

Do I select the set list or leave it to the band?

We are experts in events like yours. We have our tried and tested favourite songs that never fail to get the crowd going, and we have a great understanding of what works and what doesn’t.

That said you are very welcome to have input into the set should you wish, your event is unique, and we like to treat it that way. We have a vast repertoire so we can tailor the set to suit you.

Your event is important to us. We want to see you out on that dancefloor having the time of your life!

How long do you play for?

Our standard prices are based on us playing up to 2 hours of live party music.

How you split that up is entirely up to you, but as a rough guide, the standard performance time for weddings would be 2 x 60-minute sets or 3 x 40-minutes.

Corporate performance times tend to be 60/90 minutes straight through.

We can play for longer, if required, at extra cost. We are also super flexible on the night and can adapt if your plans change or things run over.

If you wish to add additional entertainment for a drinks reception or dinner, these sets would be 45 to 60 minutes.

What’s the line up?

iPop are a 5 to 16 piece band, and you can even add our dancers!

Our most popular line-ups are our 7 to 10 piece.

An example of the 7 piece would be:

We run professional, studio-produced tracks to complement our sound. All major touring artists use tracks from Rhianna to Robbie, Beyoncé to Black Eyed Peas. They create a fuller and more modern feel, allowing us to bring the sound you are used to from all the best current chart hits.

How experienced is the band?

Experience is essential for a fantastic musical experience, and we have bags of it! The band was created in 2010 – over a decade ago!

On top of this, the two directors Suzie & Ryan, have over 30 years of first-hand professional music industry experience.

Our band and are full time, highly experienced, professional musicians. Our team have performed all over the world with artists including Kylie, The Lighthouse Family, Imelda May, Pixie Lott, Gary Barlow, James Arthur, Ellie Goulding, Cee-Lo Green and Robbie Williams. 

Our vocalists have appeared in London’s West End where our main lead vocalist Suzie played the leading lady, Sandy, in Grease: The Musical

We have played at legendary festivals, appeared on numerous prime time TV shows, played year after year at the Royal Variety Show aftershow party, and even performed for Prince Charles at Windsor Castle!

We are the band of choice for major global clients, including Google, Maserati, Mercedes. We have been lucky enough to perform at countless beautiful weddings and dazzling functions across the globe. We have travelled all over Asia, Africa, Europe and the Middle East doing our thing! 

We have played at numerous celebrity events and even appeared in OK magazine when former England and Liverpool Captain Steven Gerrard hired the band to perform at his Testimonial Gala Dinner.

It is safe to say we are VERY experienced in all fields of the industry, so you truly can rest assured you are in safe hands.

Will iPop play some older songs too as we’re worried the older crowd may not enjoy the modern set?

People of all ages will love iPop. We have been doing this a long time and appreciate that each event has a different demographic. We have selected our set very carefully, and we are continually refining it.

Your entertainment can be tailored to suit you, and we are super versatile.
We specialise in timeless epic floor fillers and with our years of experience and vast repertoire of the best international chart hits of all time we can adapt our set list specifically for you. Get in touch and let us know what you require for your event, we will be happy to help.

Do iPop have Public Liability insurance and is all your equipment PAT tested?

Yes, iPop have public liability insurance and all our gear is PAT tested. Documentation to prove this is available on request.

How far do you travel?

We travel both nationally and internationally to play at events.

How much space do you need?

This will depend on the line up size you decide to go for. Ideally, we need a minimum space of 5m wide x 4m deep for the smallest 5 piece line up.

Will I need to provide any equipment for the band?

The band is fully self contained with state-of-the-art PA system for up to 400 guests, sound desk and lights.

The quality of our equipment is another element that allows us to bring you a top quality sound. We only use the best.

Our only requirement is that the venue has at least two standard power points situated near the performance space.

Other than that we are good to go!

I would like the band to play outside. What are the requirements for this?

Open air events can be fantastic, and we are happy to play outside. However, we would need a suitable area, such as a covered stage or marquee/gazebo. Potential rainfall and other weather conditions need to be taken into account. We will require access to at least two standard power points.

What happens if one of the band members cannot play due to illness?

iPop has a team of incredible ‘stand in’ musicians and vocalists who are all trusted, professional, rehearsed and ready to go. They are all very carefully selected to make sure they are one of us…! We would never compromise quality. The show must go on!

Can you arrive in the morning to set up for an evening event?

If we are available, yes. However an extra fee will be applicable.

How long do you take to set up?

We like to allow 1 hour for the ‘get in’, PA set up and sound check. We will always run through a few numbers to fully balance the sound to the venue prior to each performance. Therefore, it is important that you account for this in your schedule. We will need to make some noise, albeit it of the musical kind!

Can iPop play recorded / background music between sets?

We cover the whole evening’s entertainment for you. You don’t need to worry about a thing!  

Our ‘DJ’ playlists are included in all our quotes. The DJ playlists are made up of all styles of party music and are played via DJ software, through our state of the art PA system. We put this music on for you before we play, during the interval and when we finish up until midnight. (Late extension is available at extra cost.)

You are welcome to send us your specific song requests in advance so we have them ready to rock for on the night. Alternatively, if you would prefer to provide your own party playlist, you can put it on an ipod/ipad/phone and we can plug it into our system for you.

You also have the option to upgrade to a band member DJ. This is where one of the band members will remain with the device to read the crowd and take requests live on the night.

Finally, we can also offer a PRO live DJ option. Who will bring mixing decks, DJ booth and extra lighting.

How far in advance shall I book the band?

Please book the band as soon as you can to avoid disappointment.

With so many of our 2020 clients being sadly froced to postponed their events our diary for the next two years is filling up fast!
