How much do iPop cost to hire?

Should I be nervous about booking a band I have not seen before?

Not if you book iPop showband!

We totally understand concerns about booking a band you’ve not seen before. However, all of the photos, demos and videos we create for you are a great representation of what you get. Check out our Reviews page to read testimonials from other happy clients. In most circumstances, it is not possible to see the band live as we perform at private functions. Due to the fact they are private, we cannot obtain access and would hate to intrude on anyone’s special day or big event. Bands who regularly play publicly at pubs etc are probably not the type you would hire for an important private party.

On the very rare occasion that we might be doing a public show, we cannot guarantee that we will still be available for your event by the time you get to see us. We do get booked very quickly so you are much safer basing your decision to hire us on the strength of videos, demos, playlists, biography and references from other customers. We are passionate about making our promo material as true to life as possible, so what you see is what you get.

Do you require a deposit?

We do require a deposit to secure the date. The deposit must be paid within 7 days of agreeing on the booking. The deposit is non-refundable.

If the date needs to be changed due to COVID 19 we will transfer the deposit to an alternative date for you.

What happens if I cancel?

Cancellation by the client or the artist is not allowed once the booking is agreed verbally or electronically by both parties, except where Force Majeure applies. Where Force Majeure does not apply, a cancellation fee must be paid by the client. Details of these fees are in the terms and conditions that we send you before booking.

Do I select the set list or leave it to the band?

We are experts in events like yours. Rest assured people of all ages will love iPop. We have selected our set very carefully and we are constantly refining it. Your entertainment can be individually tailored to suit you and we are very versatile. We specialise in timeless epic floor fillers and with our years of experience and vast repertoire of the best international chart hits of all time we can adapt our set list specifically for you. Can you do an Israeli Dancing set for Jewish Weddings?

ABSOLUTELY!! We love Jewish Weddings and have a fantastic medley of the very best Israeli Dancing hits!

How long do you play for?

Our standard fee is based on us playing up to 2 hours of live music. For an additional fee we are also able to provide music for your ceremony, drinks reception, and dinner if you would like us to take care of the entire day’s entertainment.

What’s the line up?

iPop are a 6 to 10  piece band. The standard 6 piece line-up consists of  two lead vocalist,  guitar, bass drums and sax . Our most popular line-up is the 10 piece band. Check out our Packages page for more information.

We run professional, studio-produced tracks to complement our sound. Tracks are used by all major touring artists from Rhianna to Robbie, Beyoncé to Black Eyed Peas. They create a fuller and more modern feel, allowing us to bring the sound you are used to from all the best current chart hits.

How experienced is the band?

Collectively the two directors  have over 30 years of  professional music industry experience.

The band was formed in 2010 – over a decade ago!

The band and are full time, highly experienced, professional musicians. Our band members have performed all over the world with artists including Kylie, Imelda May,  Pixie Lott, Gary Barlow, James Arthur, Ellie Goulding, Kelly Rowland, Cee-Lo Green and Robbie Williams. Our vocalists have appeared in London’s West End where our main lead vocalist played the leading lady, Sandy, in Grease: The Musical. We have played at legendary festivals, appeared on numerous prime time TV shows, played year after year at the Royal Variety Show aftershow party, and even performed for Prince Charles at Windsor Castle!

We are regulars at major corporate events, for major clients including Google, Maserati, Mercedes. We have played at countless wonderful weddings and functions across the globe. We have performed all over Asia, Africa, Europe and the Middle East.

We have played at celebrity events and appeared in OK magazine  when former England and Liverpool Captain Steven Gerrard chose us to perform at his Testimonial Gala Dinner.

It is safe to say we are VERY experienced in all fields of the industry, so you truly can rest assured you are in safe hands.

Do iPop have Public Liability insurance and is all your equipment PAT tested?

Yes, iPop have public liability insurance and all our gear is PAT tested. Documentation to prove this is available on request.

How far do you travel?

We travel both nationally and internationally to play at events.

How much space do you need?

Ideally, we need a minimum space of 5m wide x 4m deep, but we have been known to squeeze into smaller areas when absolutely necessary.

Will I need to provide any equipment for the band?

The band is fully self contained with state-of-the-art PA system for up to 400 guests, sound desk and lights. The quality of our equipment is another element that allows us to bring you a top quality sound. We only use the best. We do require that the venue has at least two standard power points situated near the performance space.

If you want to go ‘all out’ we can also offer an upgraded production package including concert style lighting, staging, and full tech crew.

I would like the band to play outside. What are the requirements for this?

Open air events can be fantastic, and we are happy to play outside. However, we would need a suitable area, such as a covered stage or marquee/gazebo. Potential rainfall and other weather conditions need to be taken into account. We will require access to at least two standard power points.

What happens if one of the band members cannot play due to illness?

iPop has a team of incredible ‘stand in’ musicians and vocalists who are all trusted, professional, rehearsed and ready to go. They are all very carefully selected to make sure they are one of us…! We would never compromise quality. The show must go on!

Can you arrive in the morning to set up for an evening event?

Yes. However an extra fee will be applicable.

How long do you take to set up?

With our standard equipment we like to allow at least 1 hour for the ‘get in’, PA set up and sound check. We will always run through a few numbers to fully balance the sound to the venue prior to each performance. Therefore, it is important that you account for this in your schedule. We will need to make some noise, albeit it of the musical kind!

If you upgrade the production to include staging and extra lighting we would need to allow a minimum of 2 hours.

Can iPop play recorded / background music between sets?

Yes, we cover the whole evening’s entertainment for you. Included in all our quotes is our recorded ‘DJ’ playlists. This is party music played via DJ software, through our state of the art PA system. We put this on for you before we play, during the interval and when we finish up until midnight. We have music of all styles. If you would prefer to provide your own party playlist, just put it on an iPod/ipad/phone and we can plug it into our system.

We can also offer a band member DJ option or can provide a pro DJ for an extra charge.

How far in advance shall I book the band?

Please book the band as soon as you can, we are already booking up into next year!
